Privacy notice · Effective July 17, 2026
Kept small on purpose.
The Learn section collects the smallest amount of information needed to give you an account and remember where you are in the lessons. It does not collect clinical information, and it is not designed to be a place for private disclosures.
What we collect
- Your account: a user ID, an email address, and a display name.
- Your role (learner or administrator) and the date your account was created.
- That you accepted the terms and this privacy notice, and which version.
- Lesson status: not started, in progress, or completed, with timestamps.
- Bookmarked lessons and general accessibility preferences.
- An optional pathway or invitation code, if your therapist shared one.
- Optional reminder preferences, if you turn them on.
What we do not collect
- Diagnoses, symptoms, therapy notes, or clinical assessments.
- Descriptions of conflicts, complaints, trauma, or sexual history.
- Medication or insurance information.
- Audio or video recordings.
- Free-text journals or messages to your therapist.
- The names of children, family members, or other people in your life.
- Your answers inside reflection prompts — those are private to you and are cleared when you leave the page.
Please do not enter private clinical information into The Learn section. Reflections are for you, not for the record.
Why we collect it
Only to let you sign in, remember where you are in a lesson, and let your therapist see enough to understand whether you have been using the platform. Nothing else.
Who can see it
- You can see your own account and progress.
- Your therapist, acting as administrator, can see whether you have started or completed each lesson and when — never what you wrote inside a private reflection prompt.
- Your partner cannot see your account activity. Even in an invitation-based shared pathway, each person has their own login and their own private view.
How long we keep it
Account information is kept while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove it, along with your progress records, within a reasonable time. Some system logs may be kept briefly for security purposes.
How to request deletion
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting Foundations Healing PLLC through the practice's website. Deletion requests from clients are honored regardless of the reason.
Analytics and third parties
The Learn section uses only the minimum third-party services required to run the platform (for example, authentication and hosting). It does not sell your data, does not use behavioral advertising, and does not share account contents with anyone outside Foundations Healing PLLC without your consent, except where required by law.
The Foundations Guide (AI assistant)
The optional Foundations Guide answers questions about the published curriculum only. It is not a therapist, does not diagnose, and does not give personal advice. Please do not share names, private disclosures, clinical details, or descriptions of conflicts with the Guide. Conversations are session-only and are not attached to your account or shared with your therapist. Messages are sent to a third-party language model to generate a response and are not used to train models on your data.
This notice may change as the platform evolves. Material changes will be surfaced in-app.
